Cheri was born in Orange County, California, to Carroll and Myrtle Cone. She lived her childhood in Fullerton until she graduated from Fullerton Union High School in 1956, and then went away to Purdue University in Indiana where she met John, the love of her life. Cheri and John lived all over our country and the world for John’s work.
